March 2, united nations educational scientific and cultural organization, Shenzhen Intercultural Association and Huaqiang Holdings signed the strategic cooperation agreement in order to establish the UNESCO-Shenzhen Huaqiang fund. Liang Guangwei, the present of Huaqiang Holdings signed the agreement.

The aim of the fund is to promote the partnership between different societies which covers publishing, culture, development, innovation and design. Huaqiang Holdings injected 1 million dollar in the first phase.

It is believed that the fund will be initiated in May 2013, Huaqiang Holdings and UNESCO will work closely to carry out exchange in “education, technology, culture and innovation” area.
